The Destin Log's political cartoon last week said it succinctly: a short honeymoon for the new council. Indeed, the Destin City Council will face several tough issues in the coming weeks, many of which could literally change the face of Destin.
Among the issues faced by the new council: the city's land development code tiering system, potential widening of US 98, application of the NRDA grant to stabilize and provide human use for Norriego Point, and continued strip club discussions.
The council is set for executive and regular council sessions on April 7th and April 21st.
